Who are Twin Flames?

This is a post I wrote back in September but for some reason, I didn’t post it until now. I just felt with everything that’s going on in the world at this present time it’s going to cause a lot of people to have Tower moments in their lives. These tower moments can cause some people to have a spiritual awakening which in turn can lead you to have an encounter with your twin flame or divine counterpart. Most, if not all 144,000 lightworkers are twin flames and reincarnated in this lifetime to come to come together for a divine purpose. Meeting your twin flame is a very special, life-altering time, and often happens just before or after you start to experience signs of a spiritual awakening, you’ve most likely been seeing 11:11 around this time too. However, it’s only the beginning of what is in store for both of you. Encountering one another will kick start a dynamic new part of your life. One that will lead to self-growth on a massive scale and fully accepting yourself. Sometimes described as “mirror soul”, “Twin soul” or “Soul connection” a twin flame is the other half of your soul. Twin flames are souls who have agreed to reincarnate together across many lifetimes. We only have one twin flame our true energetic counterpart. One embodies the masculine the other is the feminine energy one soul two bodies.

A Twin flame is a person who you feel connected to not just on a physical & emotional level, but also on a soulful or spiritual level. They are the yins to your yangs, the sun to our moons, & the light to our darkness. Twin flames are also our mirrors in that they reflect back to us all of our hidden fears & shadows but also our true inner beauty & strength. This is the reason twin flames open the door to tremendous emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth. Your twin flame is the only other being in the universe that also shares the exact same core soul frequency, also known as the “Twin flame soul song”.

You & your twin flame are two aspects of the same original energy consciousness, basically one soul in two bodies. Even though you & your twin might seem different on the outside, underneath all the traits & personalities you’ve embodied in this life you still share an identical soul identity deep down. You may have different personality patterns but underneath everything you recognize as different in your divine partner, you have an understanding of who they are on a soul level and feel a powerful unconditional love for them.

Twin flame relationships are the most powerful ones you will ever experience in this lifetime. Both people have to feel spiritual, mentally & emotionally ready to handle such a passionate, meaningful connection & the intimacy that comes with it. If you have a twin flame, you were fated to meet this person at some point on your journey. The two of you will be drawn together like magnets. You will know when you’ve met this person because you will have a sense of recognition or a feeling you have met this person before. Many people describe an uncanny sense of having known their twin flame all their lives.

The twin flame relationship takes work. Every relationship up until this point is merely to practice for this spiritual relationship. The difference between meeting your soulmate and your twin flame can be distinctly felt. When you meet your soulmate you will have a sense of comfort, but meeting your twin flame is like meeting yourself in another person. You also only have one twin flame whereas you can have many soul mates in your lifetime but are not always romantic. Many twin flames meet soul mates prior to coming together with their divine counterpart to evolve & learn lessons, getting a chance to resolve important karma before meeting their twin flame for ascension & union.

Twin flames are believed to have been destined for each other since the beginning of their lifetimes. They are set to go separate ways, grow & after time fate brings them back together at a time they are ready to handle love at its highest level. Every twin flame couple will have a higher purpose to achieve together, this could be spiritual guides or mentoring the lives of others.

The twin flame eye contact is one sure sign that the twin souls are indeed destined for each other. The eyes are known to be the most powerful body parts that express emotions and feelings. The kind of eye contact experienced by twin flames is rather special & holds a deeper feeling than any other. The eyes are known to be the window to the soul & can, therefore, show whatever one is feeling deep inside. A simple gaze into your twin flames eyes will take you to the same level of feelings they have. It is the unspoken conversation the two of you will ever have.

Signs you have met your Twin flame

1. You have a feeling of been” home ” with your person.
2. You both embody the Yin & Yang..in other words, your dark side is balanced by their light side and vice versa.
3. You feel a strong sense of “recognition” when you meet your person, might feel like Deja Vu or strange feeling that you have known this person before.
4. You have a feeling that they are going to play a very important role in your life without knowing when, why or how.
5. Very fast you will feel an intense connection with them that is invigorating & scary at the same time.
6. You are able to be your authentic self, you will want to be a better person & you will do the same for them.
7. You are both finely tuned into each other’s energy whether your conscious of it or not. This means that you are able to feel their energy whether happy, sad or angry you are both highly empathic with each other. You could be feeling good then suddenly your mood changes and you really don’t know why..you could actually be feeling you twins energy at that time.
8. You feel as though you have been waiting for this person your whole life.
9. You strongly mirror each other values and aspirations for life and have a lot of the same interest or hobbies. The work you will do together once in union will really complement each other. Your twin flame is also a mirror of what you fear & desire the most for your own inner healing (e.g) if you are a highly strung person, your Twin Flame will most likely be very chilled relax person or if you are creatively repressed, your twin flame will be a flourishing artist.. basically you balance each other out.
10. One you are more spiritual mature that the other & often serves as the teacher to the unawakened twin, this usually is the feminine who awakening first and leads the way for the divine masculine.
11. There is nearly always an age difference between the twins this can be anything from 10 to 30 years.
12. You can be truthful with each other about anything, your twin flame will never try to change you.
13. This is one of the bigger reasons, you will feel driven towards a higher purpose whether spiritually or socially you will feel a calling to do something that will help humanity in some way.
14. As I mentioned earlier the eye contact between twin flames is an undeniable feeling of intensity and can speak a thousand words without a word been spoken.

The different stages of the Twin flame journey

The Search

The search stage involves a strong sense of yearning or an awareness that something is missing in your life. Even if you’ve never really thought about soulmates or twin flames before, this is the stage at which you begin to believe that there really is a perfect match out there for you.

The awakening

Next is the awakening stage where you physically meet, and the awareness of your compatibility is undeniable. This will often be a chance encounter that is full of coincidences & signs that your meeting was destined to take place. Even a brief meeting is enough to make you aware that something special is happening. Regardless of how you meet, you will be shaken by the intensity of the bond you feel. You might feel that all of your waking moments are consumed by thoughts of this person, which can be very hard to understand why this is happening, especially if you’re not aware of the twin flame connection.

The separation

While Twin flame love can be euphoric, it also inevitably involves a separation stage. While this is unpleasant the good news is that it can also catalyze a deeper more stable bond in the long term. This stage involves significant anxiety & worries about your bond with your Twin flame. It may be related to grief, betrayal, struggles with self-love or any number of things the intensity is so strong that it often leads to a separation between the Twins.

The running & chasing Stage

After the separation stage comes the runner & chaser stage. You may be in either role and you & your twin flame may switch back & forth between the two roles. This stage involves one Twin flame distancing themselves, often out of fear of the intensity of the connection. The twins in this role will be in pain & will feel very defensive & resistant. Meanwhile, the other twin flame will give chase, believing that the bond is worth fighting for. This stage can only end when the running twin stops trying to get away & the chasing twin stops trying to push. Often, the end of the stage is characterized by both Twin flames realizing that there are forces at work beyond their control.

The Surrender

In the surrender stage, both of you will start to give up on a need to control your relationship. Surrendering isn’t about giving up on your connection but rather about accepting that neither of you can escape from your destiny. This can be a positive realization that releases you both from past worries and allows you to live in the moment trusting that the universe will lead you to where you need be. What’s meant to be will be, and everything happens in divine timing.

The Reunion

When you and your twin move on to the reunion stage, you will feel a sense of relief at the fact that balance has been restored in the connection and you can consummate your bond. While going through the previous, challenging stages you will have learned a lot about yourself and will be working on your mission or life purpose after achieving massive growth & awareness of spirituality and alignment. This is when you will come together working on your mission through leadership or mentoring of some sort. When twins reach this stage they are often described as a “Power Couple” having huge influence and impact on others, which is the actual purpose and reason for this connection.

The purpose of the Twin flame relationship is to help us shed away the snakeskin of the ego, face & heal our hearts & transform into awakened beings. The connection is to help each other spiritually grow & expand reaching awakening. Everything in life is composed of energy at its core & twin flames are people on the deepest spiritual level are like two tuning forks magnetically attracted to each other.

We are not always receptive to the appearance of our twin flames in our life. Feeling unprepared is one of the biggest reasons why twin flame separation & the runner & chaser stage occurs. Your Twin flame run away because the connection is too overwhelming & intense for the ego when the ego is not ready to spiritually evolve, it resists fights & tries to escape the connection. Twin flame relationships are very rare and are here to help us spiritually awaken. Divine partners emerge in our lives when our souls are ready to undergo the process of awakening & massive transformation.

Karmic Relationships

Karmic relationships are often confused with soulmate relationships. Both types of relationships are for personal growth & advancements of the soul, & both are with souls whom you have shared past life experiences with, but there are some key differences.

Karmic relationships happen when one or both of the souls involved in a past life now owe a karmic debt to the other. This usually happens one person harmed the other in the past, made a promise they didn’t keep or creative negative Karma in any number of ways. Karmic relationships appear in your life so you can clean & clear away any past karma & energy with another soul, so you can progress on your unique life path. The challenge is that you may cling to a karmic relationship due to fear of being alone. Staying in a karmic relationship often leads to bigger challenges, unhealthy relationship dynamics, and a great deal of negativity & frustration. These types of emotions are a type of guidance that is essentially calling you to move on. For many people, karmic relationships are very challenging to stay away from. The whole purpose is to resolve the karma & move on. It’s not that your karmic partner is a bad person, you just have different purposes as souls & so come together for a certain length of time to resolve the past clear the past karma, heal in the present learn the lessons & move into the future separately.No relationships are perfect or without challenges but karmic relationships go beyond this and are usually very toxic. Usually feeling emotional, physically, or spiritually drained.
